The Anneliese Ava
Some of what's on the counter, we caught ourselves.
A few seasons back, Mike put a boat in the water — the Anneliese Ava, a 25' Parker — and started bringing in bonus catch alongside everything we source from the coast. Flounder off the bottom, haddock and pollock on the jig, lobster pulled by hand, and this year, we're going after the real thing: legitimate bluefin tuna, the same waters you've seen on Wicked Tuna, minus the cameras.
It's not the main source for the market — that's still the same trusted New England suppliers we've worked with for decades — but it's the freshest thing we sell, and it's the part of the job Mike loves most. Sunrise runs, sunburned hands, and a cooler full of whatever the water gave up that day.
